AHOↃFԐ

In a kingdom far away within Gold Coast, a mad man sat on the throne. A daughter sat solemnly grieving for her father and a kingdom lay terrified of what bolt of wickedness will hit it next.
Agya Ahorlu had just been murdered, except the man who murdered him called it an execution backed by law. His law! Therefore, even if few agreed with him if any at all, none dared oppose him. Not if that person valued his life. Ahorlu’s crime was being a foreigner in the land where all easily agree that he was the richest. Now that he was dead however, his riches go to the throne and thus to Nana Agyarko.
He wasn’t always rich though. That dreary day when he stumbled into Asieso (literally meaning ‘top of the mound’) after running from his hometown in Dzelukↄƒe, he was the heir apparent to the throne but somebody obviously didn’t like that. Running from the threat over his life, he headed south where he stumbled into Nana Mireku’s kingdom.
Through the benevolence of this king and Ahorlu’s own hard work, his riches in effect are what one would call ‘expected’. He became well known and liked in the kingdom. He used to be called Efo Ahorlu until Nana Mireku suggested that he be called ‘Agya Ahorlu’, thus honoring the land he came from and the land that took him in.
Marriage to the fairest maiden in the land at the time was just a matter of natural occurrence for not only was Ahorlu rich but he was also not ugly. The two got married out of convenience but their union turned to something else entirely. They became besotted with each other and true to form, Agyapomaa gave Ahorlu the most beautiful baby girl one could imagine. So beautiful in fact that she was named Ahoↄfԑ Mirekua.  Ahoↄfԑ was so named because of her beauty and to honor Nana Mireku. As cruel as life could be sometimes though, Agyapomaa left her husband and daughter and joined her ancestors six years into her daughter’s life...........................................
